Open Press Project

I’ve often thought that papercutting and leaf cutting could be combined with printing in some way. When I came upon the Open Press Project it seemed like the perfect opportunity to explore the possibilities. You can find more info on their Instagram @openpressproject. My first attempts using a papercutting and a cut leaf were mildly successful. I decided to explore more traditional processes so I can get a better handle on the printing process and techniques.

I choses to start with Tetra Pak printing which uses juice box/milk box material. I love creating art using unusual and surprising materials.
